Key Qualifications:
- Low-incidence special education license required; must be current and valid.
- Previous experience working with students who have significant disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for modifying curriculum and adaptative instruction.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, specialists, and families.
- Must be able to provide in-person instruction; remote work is not available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 10 students.
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues and families to ensure comprehensive support.
- Documenting progress and meeting compliance requirements.
- Creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
