These contract positions—one at the elementary level, the other at the secondary level—offer the opportunity to truly make an impact. You’ll serve a manageable caseload of approximately 10 students, delivering in-person instruction and support that helps each student thrive. Both roles are full-time, ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. The contract runs from August 11, 2026, to May 19, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Low-incidence special education license required; must be current and valid.
  • Previous experience working with students who have significant disabilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for modifying curriculum and adaptative instruction.
  • Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, specialists, and families.
  • Must be able to provide in-person instruction; remote work is not available.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 10 students.
  • Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues and families to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Documenting progress and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Differentiating instruction using evidence-based strategies and adaptive materials.
