Special Education Teacher in Hayward, CA

There are three openings available, specifically working with the Extensive Support Needs (ESN) population.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential.
• Experience working with ESN or similar student populations preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills when partnering with general education staff, families, and other professionals.
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with extensive support needs.
• Design, modify, and implement creative lesson plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
• Collaborate closely with instructional aides and other team members to support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth, successes, and strategies for support.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and relevant trainings.
