Key Qualifications:

• Active California Education Specialist Credential (required)
• Prior experience working in Resource Specialist Programs (RSP) or similar special education settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to individualized instruction and inclusive education practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Deliver resource support services and specialized instruction within a collaborative school environment
• Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate where all students can thrive
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure adaptations and accommodations are effectively implemented
