Special Education Teacher - Heath, OH

What we're looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Strong background in special education best practices
• Adept at adapting instruction to accommodate varied disabilities and learning levels
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to manage a changing caseload and age group assignments
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Comfortable collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and modify specially designed instruction for assigned students
• Assess student strengths, progress, and educational needs
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in compliance with regulations
• Track and document student progress towards goals
• Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners
• Communicate regularly with caregivers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
