Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• State certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher required
• Experience working as an Intervention Specialist in schools is highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet a range of learning needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to work with changing caseloads and age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with varying needs in accordance with their IEPs
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student achievements and areas of growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
