Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure to teach Special Education (Intervention Specialist credentials required)
• Experience working with students with disabilities in school settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Solid understanding of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt instructional approaches as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction to students with disabilities per their IEPs
• Assess students’ strengths, needs, and progress through data collection and observation
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to modify curriculum and classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
• Foster an encouraging classroom climate that supports student engagement and growth
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods to address individual learning differences
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student achievements and challenges
