2 Special Education Teacher Openings – Henderson, NC

Soliant is seeking two Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based contract positions in Henderson, North Carolina for the 2026–2027 school year. There are two separate openings available: one middle school position and one elementary school position.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: June 4, 2027

Full-time, Monday–Friday

37.5 hours per week

Schedule: 7:15 AM–3:15 PM

Opening #1 – Middle School EC Teacher

Self-contained classroom

Non-severe disabilities

Middle school caseload

Opening #2 – Elementary Resource Teacher

Grades K–5

Resource setting

Requirements:

Active or eligible North Carolina Special Education/Exceptional Children teaching license

Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred

Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers
