Qualifications:

• Valid NC teaching license in Special Education or eligibility for NC licensure
• Experience with mild to moderate disabilities (middle school preferred)
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a caseload of 12 in a self-contained setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
