Qualifications:
- Valid NC teaching license in Special Education or eligibility for NC licensure
- Experience with mild to moderate disabilities (middle school preferred)
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a caseload of 12 in a self-contained setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
