Key Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Deliver differentiated instruction in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Comply with federal, state, and local special education regulations and policies
