You’ll work exclusively on-site, contributing to a dynamic special education team. Ideal candidates bring specialized experience, professional licensure, and a passion for helping students thrive. Full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday–Friday) ensure you’ll have time to focus on individualized instruction and student growth.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Georgia Special Education (SPED) Licensure/Certification (official confirmation required)
  • Background working in school-based SPED environments (preferred)
  • Proven skills in classroom management and collaboration with general education staff
  • Experience with individualized education program (IEP) support, development, and documentation
  • Full-time, on-site availability for the 2026/2027 school year

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with autism spectrum disorder in elementary and middle school settings
  • Collaborate daily with general education teachers to support inclusion and individualized learning goals
  • Maintain accurate student documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Uphold structured and positive classroom management techniques
  • Adapt instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
