Special Education Teacher | Hephzibah, Georgia

Seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for special education to provide on-site support to middle school students. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment, where you'll design and deliver instruction tailored to a caseload of 15–18 students, ensuring each learner receives the attention and guidance they deserve to reach their potential.

In this full-time opportunity, you will collaborate with general education teachers, support successful IEP implementation, and foster an inclusive classroom culture. Your expertise will help students build skills and confidence, while your strong organizational skills will be key for documentation and classroom management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active GaPSC Certification or Georgia General SPED Certification (or equivalent; certification snapshot required for consideration)
• Demonstrated experience as a special education teacher in a school setting
• Proficiency supporting IEPs, maintaining documentation, and managing diverse caseloads
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both staff and students
• Commitment to full-time, on-site schedule Monday through Friday
• Reliable transportation for punctuality and attendance

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Work alongside general educators to integrate accommodations and modifications
• Oversee case management duties, including IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, support staff, and administrators
