Special Education Teacher in Herbster, WI

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
• Capable of working with students across multiple categories of need
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Comfort collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as case manager for students with individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with regulations and student needs
• Provide differentiated instruction to support learners’ academic and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and file compliance reports
• Communicate regularly with families, administrators, and other service providers
• Advocate for students and promote inclusive practices within the classroom
