What You’ll Need:

• Valid Utah Special Education teaching license/certification
• Previous experience working with K-3 students in a Life Skills or special education setting is strongly preferred
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Excellent communication, planning, and documentation abilities

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support diverse learning needs
• Deliver engaging lessons in life skills, social development, and academic content
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to ensure accessibility for all students
• Assess student progress regularly and modify instruction as needed
• Maintain thorough records and communicate progress with families and staff
• Collaborate with a committed team to provide the best learning experiences for students
