What you bring:
• A valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with general curriculum or EC students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for learners of varying abilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of both students and the team

Key responsibilities:
• Provide differentiated instruction to help students meet curriculum and IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Assess academic and behavioral progress through observation and data collection
• Modify instructional strategies to address diverse learning needs
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
