Key Qualifications:
- Current experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in school settings
- Proficient in sign language, with a minimum EIPA score of 3.5 (candidates with a 3.3 will also be considered)
- Skilled at providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and other educational staff
- Comfortable working full-time onsite (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 interpreting services for an elementary student, both in classroom settings and during school-related activities
- Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers, supporting full participation in the academic experience
- Collaborate with teaching staff and special education professionals to adapt instructional materials as needed
- Maintain a supportive, respectful environment that encourages student growth and confidence
- Document student progress and provide feedback to the educational team as needed
