Special Education Teacher in Hilliard, OH

This contract opportunity is based onsite in a welcoming school environment near Hilliard, OH, supporting students at the elementary, middle, or high school level. With several potential openings, there is flexibility to match your expertise with the right caseload. Positions are 37.5 hours per week, offering consistency and the chance to make meaningful connections with your students.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
• Delivering engaging, differentiated instruction in alignment with state and district curriculum standards
• Modifying classroom environments and teaching strategies for diverse learning styles
• Tracking and documenting student growth and maintaining accurate records
• Communicating regularly with families and staff about student achievements and support needs
• Attending and actively participating in meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
• Supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credentials in Ohio
• Experience working in school-based settings, preferably in Special Education
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adept at managing a varied caseload and collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families
• Passion for helping students of varying abilities achieve their goals

This is an onsite-only position offering a highly rewarding, collaborative setting to make a lasting impact. Caseload assignments are being finalized and may include elementary (up to 16 students), or high school (up to 24 students).
