Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification (required)
• Experience or strong interest working in high needs environments (high school or K-5)
• Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to a diverse range of student abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Adaptable and proactive approach to addressing behavioral and instructional challenges
• Understanding of special education best practices and state/federal compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support in either a high school or K-5 setting
• Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' unique strengths and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Track and report student progress while maintaining accurate documentation
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued

This is a full-time contract role for the entire 2026-2027 academic year in a supportive school environment.
