Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon Special Education Teacher credentials are required
• Previous work with K-12 students in either self-contained or resource programs preferred
• Strong understanding and experience with IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to fulfill the full spectrum of Special Education Teacher responsibilities
• Skilled at collaborating with staff, students, and families to foster a positive learning environment
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, adaptable growth mindset, and upbeat, professional attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, aligning with IEP goals
• Manage caseloads and provide services as outlined in student IEPs
• Effectively collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth within a safe classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
