Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience providing push-in resource support within a high school setting is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with general education teachers and related service providers
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Compassionate and patient with a commitment to student growth and advocacy
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver push-in support to high school students with diverse learning needs, ensuring access to the general education curriculum
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to modify and adapt instructional materials
- Develop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
- Provide targeted interventions and track progress to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning opportunities
- Maintain a positive classroom environment, building strong relationships with students
Position Details:
- School schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30am–4:30pm
