Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (SPED)
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavioral management strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to adapt lessons and materials for various learning styles and abilities
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, modify, and deliver effective instructional lessons tailored to students' IEP goals
• Assess student abilities and progress, maintaining accurate, timely documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that encourages student confidence and self-advocacy
• Utilize creative problem-solving to address academic, behavioral, and social challenges
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
