Qualifications:

• Valid and active Illinois Special Education teaching licensure and certification
• Prior school-based experience required
• Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8:40AM – 3:25PM)
• Comfortable teaching in a self-contained, instructional classroom (grades 3-4)
• Effective communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instructional plans for a classroom of 5 students in grades 3rd and 4th
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Collaborate with staff, families, and support services to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate assessments, records, and compliance with IEP goals
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
