Special Education Teacher - Hopkins, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education license required
• Specific MN licensure endorsements as appropriate for each role (ASD, DCD, EBD, ABS, or DAPE)
• At least two years of experience teaching in a Special Education setting (does not include general education, paraprofessional, or substitute positions)
• Commitment to building inclusive, student-centered classrooms

Available Positions Include:

• DAPE Teacher (0.5 FTE; Developmental Adapted Physical Education)
• Center-Based SPED Teacher (1.0 FTE; requires ASD or DCD endorsement)
• Resource SPED Teachers (multiple positions, accepting ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsement)

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's strengths and needs
• Provide tailored instruction and support for students with diverse abilities
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, parents, and specialists to foster a holistic learning environment
• Track progress and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Champion inclusion and advocate for students' success within the broader school community

Contract runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Pay for this role is competitive at $85 per hour.
