Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Experience collaborating with general education staff and related service providers
• Positive attitude and commitment to supporting all learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Track and report student progress, providing data-driven updates to families and teams
• Collaborate with other Special Education Teachers and support staff to optimize strategies and interventions
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching materials and methods to ensure accessibility for all students
