Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (appropriate for California)
• Experience with mild/moderate disabilities preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 28 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an encouraging and supportive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and support to students with mild/moderate learning disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families, related service providers, and faculty
• Assess student progress and adjust plans to promote skill acquisition and independence
• Use diverse instructional strategies to engage learners and address academic, behavioral, and functional goals
• Maintain detailed records and adhere to state and federal compliance regulations
