Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience implementing IEPs and differentiating instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies and behavioral management techniques
• Ability to adapt and respond flexibly to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specially designed instruction tailored to students with diverse learning abilities
• Write, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth, independence, and self-advocacy
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents/guardians, and support staff
• Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain organized documentation
• Provide modifications and accommodations to curriculum and assessments
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
