Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience supporting IEP development and implementation
- Familiarity with both middle and elementary grade levels (Grades 3 and 7 preferred)
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Comfort with technology and collaboration in virtual speech service delivery
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive behavioral supports
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 13-17 students, depending on placement
- Serve as a full-time case manager, coordinating individualized education plans
- Collaborate closely with speech therapists, general educators, and school teams to implement services
- Provide direct instructional services and support to students with IEPs, including five students requiring 1:1 assistance
- Deliver tailored instruction in either a middle school (7:45-2:15) or 4th grade-focused elementary setting (8:45-3:15)
- Prepare for the start of the school year on 8/27; formal IEP work begins 9/9
