Make a difference as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with a unique contract opportunity supporting students from August 3 to November 30. Work four days a week, with a set schedule from Monday to Thursday—perfect for maintaining work-life balance while impacting young learners' lives.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary-age students with diverse learning needs
• Comfort providing both in-person services/assessments and remote paperwork/IEP meetings
• Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families and staff
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance
• Flexibility for travel between schools as needed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education services to early childhood students in an in-person setting
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify each student’s strengths and needs
• Participate in and lead IEP meetings remotely
• Maintain all required documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to develop and implement individualized supports
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students within the classroom
