Make a meaningful impact supporting students in special education by bringing your dual expertise to an innovative school setting. This contract opportunity is tailored for dedicated Special Education Teachers who hold certification in both Early Childhood Special Education (EC SpEd) and Elementary Special Education (ES SpEd). The role is onsite and spans the academic year, beginning in early September and concluding in early June, with full-time scheduling at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Valid and current Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in both Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education (required).
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations across early childhood and elementary settings.
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with general educators, support staff, and families.
  • Innovative thinking and adaptability in developing inclusive education models.
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities.
  • Ability to provide PDF proof of dual certification and an updated resume for credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students identified with disabilities in both early childhood and elementary grades.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to address IEP goals and individualized student needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement an integrated special education service model.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Build empowering relationships with students, families, and school partners to foster a positive, inclusive learning climate.
