Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers holding dual certifications in Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education. This contract role begins September 2, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering a meaningful way to impact students across grade levels. You’ll work on-site, providing crucial support and instruction to diverse learners while collaborating with dedicated staff.
Two full-time positions are available:
- Position 1: Forest View Elementary – Half-time Early Childhood and half-time K-5 Resource.
- Position 2: Linwood Elementary – Half-time Early Childhood and half-time K-5 Resource.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education (must provide PDF with application).
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment.
- Strong skills in adapting curriculum and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to students with varying learning needs in early childhood and K-5 resource settings.
- Develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs to promote student growth.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Partner with general education staff, related service providers, and families for well-rounded student support.
- Engage in school-based meetings and professional development as needed.
