Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
  • Dual certification as required for the role
  • Experience, coursework, or demonstrated passion for supporting preschool-aged children with unique learning needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted, engaging instruction to children ages 3-5 in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet developmental needs
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and family conferences
  • Foster social-emotional growth and a positive learning community
