Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Special Education teaching license in EBD, ASD, or ABS required
- Experience supporting at-risk youth, especially those in high school settings
- Strong background in behavior support and intervention strategies
- Genuine team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and support a variety of learning needs
- Will consider candidates eligible for Out of Field Licensure Placement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for high school students
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a supportive classroom environment
- Use evidence-based practices for behavior management and academic support
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure consistent communication and holistic student support
- Document progress, complete reports, and participate in regular team meetings
- Nurture student growth and independence while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom
