Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials
• Experience working with K-2 learners in resource or inclusive settings
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration with paraprofessionals and general education staff
• Passion for fostering a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
• Previous experience with IEP development and implementation is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to support individual education plans
• Foster classroom inclusion while working with an EC Teacher’s Assistant
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families regarding progress and goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure seamless student participation in classroom activities
• Participate in professional development as required
