Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2026–2027 school year, you will deliver instruction and case management as part of a dedicated district-wide special education team. The district supports a variety of program models, including resource/collaborative and self-contained classrooms. The specific classroom setting, grade level, and caseload details are determined at the time of assignment.

Qualifications:

• Hold (or be eligible for) an Alabama Professional Educator Certificate in Special Education, with reciprocity considered for out-of-state candidates
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Skilled in progress monitoring, accommodations, and modifications
• Effective communicator, capable of building positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and support staff
• Flexible and adaptable to work in either resource/collaborative or self-contained settings depending on student needs
• Strong organizational abilities for case management
• Candidates with prior experience managing IEP caseloads and offering behavioral supports are highly encouraged to apply
