Qualifications:

• Valid or eligible Alabama Professional Educator Certificate in Special Education (reciprocity considered)
• Experience with IEP development/implementation, accommodations/modifications, and progress monitoring
• Comfortable collaborating with general education and support staff, as well as effective parent communication
• Experience managing an IEP caseload and providing behavioral supports (preferred)
• Flexibility to work in resource, collaborative, or self-contained classrooms as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct Special Education instruction and case management in settings assigned
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families and collaborate with school staff
• Employ a variety of strategies to support student achievement and engagement
