What we’re looking for: • Valid Special Education Teacher certification • Experience teaching students in grades K-12 preferred • Background with one or more of the following: resource/inclusion, self-contained, life skills, structured learning • Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families • Ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse student needs • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

In this role, you’ll be: • Delivering differentiated instruction and support to students with varying learning needs • Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff for cohesive student learning plans • Developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies as needed • Creating a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom atmosphere • Engaging in regular communication with families and multidisciplinary team members • Participating in school-related meetings, staff development, and professional learning opportunities
