Key Qualifications:
- Current Maryland Special Education Certification for at least grades 6-12.
- Maryland Math Certification for minimum grades 6-12, or eligibility to secure special education credentials if already math certified.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in teaching math to middle school students with learning disabilities or on the autism spectrum.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized math lessons tailored to each student’s learning needs.
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.

- Employ strategies and resources to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles.
