Key Qualifications:

• Maryland Special Education Certification for K-12 required
• Strongly preferred: Maryland Vice Principal or SPED Supervisor Certification
• Proven experience with IEP development and implementation
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor instructional teams
• Familiarity with MSDE compliance and best practices
• Supervisory experience in elementary and/or middle school settings

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Lower/Middle School Director to develop and supervise educational programs for grades K-8
• Supervise instructional teams, supporting ongoing professional growth and effective teaching strategies
• Oversee the implementation of IEPs and development of student schedules
• Serve as a resource for teachers, students, and families, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
• Monitor and ensure compliance with MSDE requirements and relevant school policies
• Engage proactively with staff, providing support and guidance to enhance student outcomes
