Colorado Direct Hire Special Education Teacher

A Colorado school district is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide support in a resource classroom. This position emphasizes individualized instruction, progress monitoring, and collaboration to help students achieve their academic and social goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a resource setting

• Develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed

• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families

• Participate in meetings and ensure compliance with state and district requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education teaching certification required

• Experience supporting students in a resource or pull-out setting preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills
