Special Education Teacher in Ilfeld, NM

Qualifications and Prerequisites:

• Current credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience or strong interest in working with middle school learners (grades 6-8)
• Proficiency in supporting students with a range of mild to severe needs
• Must hold a valid Medicaid NCI #
• Successful completion of a background check is required
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with parents, general educators, and related service providers to foster each student’s academic and social progress
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Track and report on student performance and progress toward goals
