What We’re Looking For:

• Valid and active Special Education teaching certification
• State licensure for teaching in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Positive, flexible attitude and a passion for student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with varying academic, behavioral, and functional needs
• Develop and manage IEPs tailored to each student, ensuring appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to inform instructional strategies
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Support students in transitioning between activities and adapting to new routines
