To qualify, candidates must:
- Hold a valid Missouri teaching license in Special Education (or be fully licensed in another state with Missouri licensure in process)
- Demonstrate experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Exhibit strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Commit to supporting student growth and academic achievement
- Be available for an onsite position (remote work is not available)
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
