Key Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license with Mild Intervention or Intense Intervention certification (as applicable)
• Experience working with middle school learners in special education or similar settings preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of 25-30 students (Resource) or 10 students (Essential)
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability working alongside students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and individualized learning plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support services for students according to their IEPs
• Work with a supportive team, participating in staff meetings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Develop strategies and interventions appropriate to each student’s academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Track progress, maintain student records, and communicate with stakeholders
• Engage in professional development as needed to remain current on best practices
