You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of Medi-cal administrative tasks, directly supporting the work of school staff serving the community.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience processing Medi-cal requests within a school or related setting
- Solid understanding of Medicaid and associated compliance procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with tracking and verifying data, including overseeing random time surveys
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; the role requires regular interaction with school staff and administrators
- Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred for effective communication with diverse stakeholders
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process Medi-cal clerical requests, ensuring timely and accurate compliance
- Monitor and verify incoming Medicaid random time surveys in coordination with special education staff and district team members
- Participate in monthly meetings with Medi-cal representatives to uphold standards, maintain procedural integrity, and ensure that all records are accurate
- Provide ongoing guidance to staff on current reporting procedures and necessary documentation
- Support district efforts to streamline Medi-cal data management and submission practices
