What You’ll Do:

• Deliver targeted instruction that aligns with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Design and adapt lesson plans to address diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Foster a therapeutic, structured, and nurturing classroom climate
• Liaise closely with therapists, behavior specialists, and support personnel to ensure consistent interventions
• Accurately monitor and document student progress, recommending adjustments as needed
• Maintain open communication with families and staff to support each learner’s growth and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience in a therapeutic, behavioral, or alternative school setting highly valued
• Proven ability to manage classrooms and implement effective behavior interventions
• Skilled in building strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Open to teaching at the middle school (grades 6–8) or high school (grades 9–12) level based on experience and preference
