Special Education Teacher in Inman, SC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current South Carolina special education teacher certification required
• Experience in resource classroom or similar SPED settings strongly preferred
• Passion for working with middle school students with varying needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet each learner’s unique goals and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in a resource room environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with the IEP team
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies for optimal growth
• Maintain clear communication with families, staff, and administrators
• Uphold a positive and respectful classroom culture focused on student empowerment
• Keep records and comply with all school and state SPED requirements

Work Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract position within a dynamic middle school
• Two positions available for immediate start
• Must be available throughout the school week and fully committed to the contract term
