Special Education Teacher in Inverness, FL

The students present a variety of abilities, including Autism and related behavioral needs, but there are no significant behavioral challenges. You’ll be joined daily by three dedicated paraprofessionals, allowing for collaborative instruction and personalized support.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with children on the Autism spectrum and diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication skills for engaging with fellow educators, parents, and support staff
• Able to differentiate instruction for a range of abilities, fostering both academic and social growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver tailored lessons that address individual learning styles and program goals
• Lead and collaborate with three classroom paraprofessionals to optimize learning for all students
• Collect data and track student progress toward academic and behavioral objectives
