Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (state eligibility required)
  • Prior experience in self-contained and/or resource classroom settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to new environments

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualized instruction to students with special needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Engage with families and support staff to ensure student success
