What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Valid California teaching credential with appropriate Special Education authorization
• Experience delivering instruction to students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Strong collaborative skills for working with general educators and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address students’ unique needs
• Work closely with classroom teachers to support inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
• Regularly assess and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
• Provide direct support to students, ensuring individualized attention and guidance
• Effectively communicate progress and concerns with students, parents, and school staff
• Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic support
• Maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes
