Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (required)
  • Current state license for teaching Special Education

  • Adaptability to foster inclusive learning environments for students with varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies
  • Collect and analyze student data to monitor academic and behavioral growth
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews
