What you’ll bring:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a special education setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with parents, colleagues, and support staff
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each learner
• Ability to maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines

Key responsibilities:

• Individualize instruction for each student on your caseload to support academic and social-emotional growth
• Design and follow lesson plans based on students’ IEP goals

• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, making adjustments as necessary
