Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs
• Collaborative approach when working with other educators and staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students on your caseload of 2-5 learners
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students’ goals are met
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student records

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:15pm, so you can enjoy your evenings and weekends.
