Special Education Teacher in Jackson, LA

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher or Speech-Language Pathologist with early intervention credentials
• Experience delivering early intervention services, particularly in a homebound or community-based setting
• In-depth understanding of language instruction best practices for children with developmental delays or disabilities
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility, empathy, and dedication to individualized instruction and holistic student development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted language instruction tailored to each child's individualized education plan (IEP) in home and/or school environments
